On the 22nd of November, a public meeting was held at the Leyton Crescent community centre in Beeston. Representatives from the University of Nottingham outlined their plans, followed by a question and answer session. This lively meeting was attended by around 60 local residents. Fewer than we had hoped, but possibly more than the organisers expected - more chairs had to be rustled up to accommodate the audience.
